SOURCE: clicking noise behind right side second row seat

I had the same problem. There are two regulators and the one that determines air direction is broken. The door inside is hung up and it strips the gears in the regulator. You can leave all the seats in the car but you have to remove several panels on the inside to get to the regulator. Many or them pry off. This can be risky if you are not careful and you may decide you don't want to risk it. Others need bolts removed (around the seatbelts) to remove. If you get to that point you will find two regulators that are white in color. They are anchored by 4 screws (i think) and come right out. Determine you have the proper one by toggling the face/floor button. You can follow the noise. The real problem here is with the door that hangs up. Mine hung up because the whole assembly was anchored against a big wiring harness on the back side that cracked the whole casing. Bad engineering. You may have to remove some sharp cracked pieces so the door moves easily. Problem is that you now will have a hole in your AC/Heating unit. You can replace that as well (expensive) or seal it some other way. By the new regulator from Ford and reassemble and you're done. If you are handy it should take you a couple of hours. My bro had the same problem on his Explorer and we fixed it much quicker the second time around. If you are not handy, you might want to reconsider.

SOURCE: removing the 2nd and 3rd row seats

3rd row, you simply pull the lever which makes the back fold down and then grip the handle located on the bottom and pull toward you slightly hard. They are heavy so it seems like they aren't coming out, just pull hard. second row, you flip all the way up and push with them standing up and they come unhooked. Good Luck! I didn't have any problems, except they are at least 50+lbs!

SOURCE: air conditioner not blowing cold air

go to a parts store such as Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone and buy the A/C recharging kit they have with the rubber line and connector that connects only on the side that you need to recharge your system. If you can put air in your tires you can out freon in your a/c system.

No heat or air to 2nd or 3rd row of 2007 Chrysler pacifica

Dear An,
The vents that direct the air to certain areas of the cars or trucks are plastic, and over time, will warp, or stick, or break.
This applies to all cars & trucks.
A good rule of thumb is, 10 years of working correctly.
If you choose to fix this, or have it fixed, start with the under dash unit, in a ********* plastic box.
Open that up and see if everything is working properly.
Then go to the tubes or pipes that send the heat or cool to the rear.
This may requires taking the seats and the carpets out to access those tubes or pipes.
Understand a dealer may charge you many hundreds of dollars, or even a few thousand to do this, because it is "labor intensive".
God bless your efforts.

2003 Navigator, the air or heat does not blow in rear section. All I hear is a clicking.

I assume your talking 3rd row seating A/C, Have the same car and had same problem. Unless you use 3rd row much, unplug it ( under passenger side wheel hump pocket ) this will stop the clicking and has no effect on A/C cooling front & middle row in Florida heat. There are actually 2 plugs, do both. Not the best, but the easiest & cheapest.

Have you checked the Aux switch near the bottom of the center control console.
There should be a knob with: Aux, Off, 1, 2, 3. This is the switch for the rear AC blower.
If the driver wants to control the rear AC, use the 1, 2, 3 settings.
If you put it on Aux, Than the rear AC is controlled by the passenger in the back seat using the extra controls located on the Overhead DVD player. (The front AC must be on the rear to work)

I want to make my 1999 Mercury Villager Sport into a cargo loader, with just the front seats kept and the rest of the back empty. How do I remove the other 3 seats? So far, I can't get any of them to budge...

the middle seats come out easily. There are 2 handles you have to lift up on each of the bucket seats, they are in the front of the seat down by the seat tracks. After you lift them, tilt the seat upward in the front and rotate them backward. Then lift out of the hooks. Each seat is held down by 4 hoks.

The 3rd row seat is not designed to come out xcept by a technician. It does slide forward all the way up to the front seat. It has a sliding seat track.
First, lift the T handle under the seat cushion on the left front side of the seat. This will allow you to lift the seat bottom up all the way to lcok in the full up position.
Then, lift the lever on the same side of the seat and slide the seat forward. It will stop in 4 places.
Rear -Rear
6 inches forward of that.
another two ft to the second row seating position
full frward against the front seats.

Pleae rate as fixya if this helps.

Need to remove backseat

You can not remove the far back seat, only the middle one. But you can slide it all the way foward. I have had my van for two years and just learned how to do it today from my husband. Below the rear are two levers. A and B. Make sure the back of the seat is in the upright position and then pull on Levee A. At the same time, lift of the bottom of the seat. It will go up and fold together making a V with the back of the seat. Then pull lever B and slide seat forward.
