Question about 2003 GMC Envoy
If A/C is on when car is started runs fine and doesn't try to die at stops. If car is turned on without A/C on and A/C is then turned on later compressor kicks in and out and motor tries to die when you stop. Pressures in A/C system have been checked and are fine and low pressure switch has already been checked and is fine.
I'd remove my idle air control (IAC) motor, and clean it & re-install to see if that helps. Use throttle body cleaner on pointed part of motor (pintle) and shaft , as well as spray into hole (port) it came out of . If it helps for a while, then start to do it again, I'd replace the idle Air control motor.
