Your car has 2 flasher units: A signal flasher and a hazard light flasher. They are located in what is called the convenience center, a panel that swings down toward you. Here is a link to a diagram of the panel as well as it's location. There should be no need to remove the radio. Best of luck.

Convenience Center The convenience center is used to centrally locate various buzzers, relays, flashers and/or circuit breakers. On some earlier vehicles, it is a box-like, swing-down unit located on the underside of the instrument panel. Later vehicles use a bracket-like strip, mounted under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column. All components located in the convenience center are serviced by plug-in replacements.

locate it on the left side of the dash board (on the driver side)

Remove the cover from the fuse box. The cover should contain a chart
telling what each fuse controls, or there may be a clear plastic cover
over the fuses that gives this information.

You are going to have to register on BBB INDUSTRIES
FREE Documentation site...

because... These are REAL GM drawings &
Technical Service Bulletins... (TSBs).

Get onto your SIGNAL/BRAKE Schematic Drawing
and figure out where your "SHORT" (cross-over) is

This is where the REAL technicians use tone tracers...
and open circuits to halves (50, 50) to isolate FAULTED CIRCUITS.

If you don't "open" the circuits... the tone will travel

LXI. how do I replace flasher?

The Flasher is located: Behind A/C and heater control panel, in center console.

Flashers are located either on the bottom of the fuse block or on a module under the dashboard. They are replaced by simply pulling them straight out. Note that the prongs are arranged in such a way that the flasher must be properly oriented before attempting to install it. Turn the flasher until the orientation of the prongs is correct and simply push it firmly in until the prongs are fully engaged.clink on link to see what flasher look's like.

The turn signals and emergency flashers do not work

replace flasher unit.
The turn signal and hazard flasher unit is located in the interior fuse panel located under the driver's left side knee protector. They are replaced by simply pulling them straight out. Note that the prongs are arranged in such a way that the flasher must be properly oriented before attempting to install it. Turn the flasher until the orientation of the prongs is correct and simply push it firmly in until the prongs are fully engaged.

Cant locate hazard flasher relay on my 1994 oldsmobile cutlass ciera s 2.2L 4 cyl.

ok i have found your answer but i found it on another website so i copied it for you to rummage thru I hope this is what u were seeking and glad to help.

flasher switch location The flasher switch for the 94 cutlass is not where you would think it would be it is behind and off to the side of the ashtray or below the radio.

New Answer Headline The above is accurate; getting to it is a little tricky. Open the glove box and remove the tether wire connection at the door by unscrewing the SHC screw with a T-15 Torx driver. This will expose 2 of the 4 fuse panel mounting screws. Use an 8mm socket to remove all four and wiggle the panel out. The flasher is behind and to the left in the harness itself, not on a terminal block. Use a straight blade screwdriver to gently pry the two prong connection from the unit (Mine was an OEM Wagner - bright yellow.)
Additional Answer
It depends if you're talking about the turn signal flasher or the emergency flasher. The emergency flasher is directly behind the glovebox. If you're referring to the turn signal flasher, I just replaced mine last night without having to mess with the fusebox or glovebox. It turns out that it was attached by a clip on the right side of the ashtray frame inside the dashboard. I took out the removable "cup" part of the ashtray, then removed the two upper and two lower ashtray frame screws. Next, I pulled the frame forward and disconnected the small ashtray light. The power wire for the cigarette lighter can stay attached. After I slide the frame out the rest of the way it was easy to get to and replace the flasher unit.

Where is the flasher on a 1994 toyota previa

The flasher is bolted to the firewall behind the right side of the instrument panel and you can't get to it from underneath the instrument panel. You will have to remove the center console fascia to get to the instrument cover screws and remove the instrument cover. Then you can get to the instrument holding screws and move the instrument panel out of the way. Either a service manual or will have this information and pictures. Replace the flasher with a genuine Toyota flasher relay. The aftermarket relays might look like they fit but I have found out they don't work properly. The flasher is bolted to the firewall with a 13mm bolt. Take out the bolt and replace the flasher.

Fasher unit location for a 1996 bravada

Are you trying to replace the Turn Signal Fuse?

First, remove the ash try.

Then, there is a small bolt that you need to remove. When you removed the ash try, the bolt is shown. it is on the dash on the top left of the opening of where you removed ash tray.

Next, get a #30 Torx Head, either Ratchet or Screwdriver. To the left of the ash tray, about a foot, and to the right of the steering column, there is a Torx Head Bolt. Remove that.

Now, remove the panel around the radio and air conditioner controls. You don't need to remove it completely. Just enough to allow that bottom portion of the plate where you removed the screws to be lowered. You should see the tabs that rest on the panel that you just removed. Push that panel down as far as you can. To the right of where you removed that Torx Screw you should see two round silver cylinders. They should have the number '522' stamped on them. The one on left is for the Turn Signals, Left and Right, and the one on the right is for the Emergency Flashers. It is best to replace them both. Use a pair of pliers and pull them straight out, don't turn them. You can wiggle them, but don't turn them left or right. You could damage the connectors.

Put the knee panel and the front panel back in the opposite of the directions.

If you need further help, I would recommend that you go to your local auto parts store and get a Haynes Manual. There are detailed instructions on the removal and replacement of those fuses listed in that manual.

Hope this helps!

Flasher button location in 1996 oldsmobile bravada

Do you mean the Emergency Flasher?

This is located on top of the steering column. Push in to activate. Push again to deactivate.

Some models also have the switch located at the 4 o'clock position of the steering column. Just below the starter key and a bit further back. It is round and black. There is a collar that moves around the button. Push in the center of that button to activate. Pull on the collar to deactivate.

Hope this helps.
