Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

1 Answer

Will not start.

The Jetta ran fine last night. This morning the only light on the dash is the battery one. The car turns over but only stays started for a second or two. All other electrical items work except for the power windows. Also the digital odometer and clock are out on the dash. The battery was replaced in December and after testing it all seems fine.

All fuses look good in panel and under hood. Any idea which relay may need to be replaced?

It's your Electronic Stability System. It may be malfunctioning because of the cold temperature or triggered by another malfunctioning system. You need to take it in for a diagnostic investigation.

My 96' Jeep Cherokee will not turn over or start

ASE Mechanic here. check all the fuses to start, and check voltage on battery. if there was a battery draw all night the vehicle might have started but the alternator could not charge the battery because its power was too low and causing the ignition to die and then not allowing the vehicle to start. keep me posted!!!!!!!!!!!
