Question about Chevrolet Tahoe
The speedo is electronic, so if it is stuck at 0 then there is something wrong in the gauge cluster. If everything besides the speedo works fine then you may be able to open it up and look for anything obstrusting it but that is only if you feel comfortable "cracking" open your cluster. There are no cables running into it though just a plug of wires.
u need to install the cluster, But, You will have to get an Installation kit if you want the Tach to work. Everything else will hook up the Same. You have a Distribution Box (Fuse Box) Under the Hood on the Drivers Side, There is a Fuse in it for the Speedo. Inside the Cover to the Box is the Fuse Diagram or in the Back of the Owners Manual.
As long as the Guage Cluster that you are Putting in in Place of the Old one is the Same Year model or Close you should be able to Just Plug it up.
Before you install the NEW Cluster, Make sure to replace the Light Bulbs on the Back of the Cluster so that you do not have to Rip it apart Again!
You need to replace the Speedometer Cable. Not an Easy job But, Unfortunately Neccessary at this Point! Just follow the Cable through the Dash and Firewall to the Other End
hope this will work for u
do let me kno
all the best
