This problem is usely caused by the oil pump or bearings.i'm knot sure but i don't think the intake gasket has anything to do with that.if there is some oil holes in the gasket for that it is posible that it was put on backwards. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

Engine sputtering an jerking like its notgettin the fuel

Change the fuel filter and do a fuel sample test. Impurities will layer in a glass container of fuel. Then drain oil, add a can of Risolone and depending on your budget, either add fresh oil or some of the old oil to refill the crankcase. Follow the instructions on the Risolone, use this as a flush. Operate engine with regards to fresh or old oil in above instructions. Let Risolone have a chance to work.
Additional steps. Some of these engines used a part called a Manifold runner. This part can soot up. Best way is to remove intake manifold and clean part. But combustion chamber cleaner can help without removing parts.
Also depending on engine size, some used a 2 piece intake sandwiched together. These were a problem because gasket would dissolve. Have engine running, use a spray cleaner bottle and water mist around Intake. If gasket is bad, RPM will change or engine will stall when water is drawn in.
Then get a new oil filter and change the oil and filter.

Hello, Probably the easiest thing to do is drain the oil and see what it looks like. If it is okay, then invest in a new oil pressure sending unit and change the oil filter. For awhile there were bad Fram filters and others with bad relief valving in the oil filter.

If the oil has Antifreeze in it, then it is pretty much a given that a head gasket is bad. You should check your sparkplugs anyway for signs of water/antifreeze contamination if the engine is blowing the Antifreeze out of the exhaust. This can help show you if only one head gasket is bad or if both are bad.

I hope you either bypassed the heater core or fixed it. Another gasket that can get Antifreeze into a cylinder is the Intake manifold gasket. The newer cars usually have only air coming into the engine through this manifold. You need to look at where the top Radiator hose enters the engine. If the hose enters on the block, you are probably good for the Intake gasket.

But if the top Radiator hose attaches to the Intake manifold, a loose Intake can leak Antifreeze into the heads through the ports on the Intake. It can also cause a lack of power and poor idle. If the Intake gasket IS your problem, the head gaskets can be fine. The Intake gasket is reasonably inexpensive.

I can tell you that a loose Intake can be checked for air leaks by running the engine and spraying a water mist from an old detergent bottle around the seams of the Intake. The engine speed will change or stall if the water is drawn in. The Antifreeze leak can not be checked by this method.

I hope my solution helps you find your problem.

Coolant leak 05 denali

I will assume as usual that it has the 5.7L engine. The common cause for a coolant leak in these truck are the intake manifold. It either leaks externally or internally or both this is a common problem with this engine. You have to replace the intake gaskets. This a fairly big job. First check your engine oil if the level has risen and if the oil smells like anti freeze or looks like a milkshake kinda foamy then the chances are good that your intake is leaking. If all else fails you will have to do a coolant pressure test and you will seee the leak probably. It could also be your cylinder head gaskets but the most likely cause is the intake gasket. $100.00 for the gasket kit and about 5-6 labour. Change your oil & filter before you start it after you replace the gaskets. Then if your leak goes away change your oil & filter again about a week later to ensure you get all the coolant out of the engine oil this is very harmfull to the bearings in the engine.

You have to find that rubber gasket of it will not seal and the pressure will force the oil out and soon the engine will seize. Shut that car down until you find that gasket or go get another filter and put it on with the gasket. Recheck the oil level after you do this too so you know how much oil to add.

My oil is a light brown color

This is not good. It means that antifreeze is getting into the oil. This is usually caused by damaged intake manifold gaskets. Replace the lower intake manifold gaskets and change the oil. Run the engine long enough to reach operating temperature and change the oil and filter again. Then cross your fingers and hope that there is no bearing damage. If the engine is knocking, you will have to replace the engine.

Severe oil leak

Depending upon engine, and year, these cars get either oil pan and / or intake gasket leaks, with an occasional head gasket leak. If it is a 3.1 it is probably the intake leaking. But, who knows, as there is not much info to go on here ( year, engine size, etc ). Too, did you just get an oil change ( maybe the oil drain plug or oil filter are leaking ) ?

if your getting oil in the air filter area, you have a leaking intake gasket or a leaking head gasket, run a compression test on it,
if the compression is where it should be on all cylinders then its a leaking intake gasket!!!

Where is my oil sending nit and my rear intake gasket on my 2003 f250 6.0

The oil sender is a white round single wire sender on the oil cooler cover between the oil filter and turbo (on top of the engine).
There is no rear intake gasket. There is an EGR cooler gasket.
