Question about 2003 Chrysler Sebring

I have a 2003 chrysler sebring was running good and suddenly died

Has plenty of cranking power seem's to be fuel problem any sugestions

When you turn the ignition switch on you should hear a buzzing sound, that's the fuel pump. If you don't hear it, check the fuses.
If there is a buzzing sound, have a fuel pressure check done.
If fuses are good and no buzzing sound, replace fuel pump, in witch case you might have to drop the tank.

Check for Fuel Pressure @ Test Port if it Does not SPRAY Fuel Pump is Bad

After running for 10 minutes car died on the road. Gauges were working, no idiot lights were on. Battery and alternator dont seem to be an issue. Believe its the fuel pump. Where is it located on a 2004...


The fuel pump is in the gas tank. but the next time it dies you might want to check and see if it has spark. If it don't it could be a problem with the crank sensor and then you would have replaced the fuel pump for nothing. Good luck

Yes it would. But, With no oil Running through it There are a Number of other things that could go wrong. You are on the Correct path Though. Start with the Cam Sensor and see where you are at.

Engine cranks but no spark to start


Hi ,One sugestion is to chech your timing belt by taking the oil cap of and look if the valvas move when some one else crank the enginee,If they dont move the belt is bad , if they move check for fuel delivery and ignition module. Good Luck.
