It is attached to the fuel pump. Both are located in your fuel tank.

Where is the fuel filter on a Mazda 6 2006 ? I have terrible idling and hesitation on the car for 3 weeks no one seems to knwo for sure what it is. No service engine light or reading on the computers....

The fuel filter is part of the fuel sending unit inside the gas tank. There is no other fuel filter on the car or no other way to replace it unless you change out the fuel filter.

2005 mazda 6 will turn over but will not start - put more fuel in the tank - no change - it will run if I spray carb cleaner down the throttle bocy - need a manual but cannot find one

check your fuel pump or your filter. it must be the fuel system. hopefully it's just the pump that's probably one of the cheapest parts of the fuel system

Hello, I was just wondering how to change the fuel filter on a 2005 mazda 6 v6?

Mazda Car 2005-06 Repair Guide
Fuel Filter Removal & Installation

The fuel filter on most Mazda cars can be located on a bracket in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir or as part of the fuel pump assembly.

The filter on Mazda3 models is part of the fuel pump assembly.
The fuel filter is part of the pump assembly. Once the fuel pump is removed, remove the filter retainer and filter. refer to the fuel pump procedure or removal and installation.

Hope helps with this (remember rated this help) Good luck.

Mazda 6 diesel wont start

Have you run the car without fuel? There must not be any air in the fuel line... Blead the fuel line of air and try to start it. There should be bleader screws under the hood....
