Alarm won't go off

I have a 2002 MazdaTribute which the battery had been dead for awhile. I took out the battery and charged it fully and replaced it. When hooking it back up the alarm goes off and won't shut off. The vehicle will start and run but the alarm continues to go off until the battery is disconnected.

How do i bypass the anti theft system in a 2002 Stratus

Unfortunately if you are referring to the factory anti-theft system - it will have to have computers replaced. Once the Engine Computer sees a Theft Alarm request it will remain there forever and it will shut down the fuel system until seeing an OK To Start from the Theft Alarm.
If it is after market alarm - find it and disconnect wiring - restore connections to original
does that help?
If you are having trouble with the system? Make sure the battery is good and fully charged. There are entry switches on the back side of the lock cylinders on both front doors (probably knocked off when the door is "Slim Jim'd") and the trunk lock.
If your battery is dead and you try to jump it - you will have to turn off the alarm again after hooking up the jumper

Alarm going off continiously until battery dead and doors will not open

You have an alarm/engine immobiliser/ door lock problem. You will need some more specific help for a problem on a most fault ridden/unreliable model. I don't think its a easy as removing a fuse because then it won't start. Call a dealer to see if the alarm element can be switched off. When battery voltage drops below a certain figure, usually about 9v, then all sorts of things start to happen. Check your alarm bipper is functioning properly and that battery is fully charged.

WHY WOULD A CAR NOT START IF THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED? Could it be the alarm?

Here's the game plan, get it cranked and have someone follow you to Autozone, keep it cranked and go into store and tell them you need your battery and alternator tested, has to be cranked to do this and let them know if you turn off it won't start so you won't burn up your gas waiting too long and this service is free.

Car won't start and arms alarm when I turn the ignition

Dead battery armed the security system. Remove the battery cable let the system reset. Charge the battery. Use the key to unlock the door instead of the keyless entry. This resets the alarm once the battery is charged.

Have a 2002 lincoln ls-when i go to start it the alarm will go off

The low battery can cause this, the battery must be fully charged to properly test the alternator. Testing with an inadequately charged battery can lead to the replacement of a perfectly good alternator. Know more diagnostic tools from http://www.obd2express.co.uk

2002 suziki XL-7 will not start

The starter solenoid has been known to stick on these cars. If you jump start the extra battery will free it up till next time (right) If this is the case replace solenoid or the whole starter. You can also bang the solenoid with a wooden broom handle if it will reach the starter not sure you can see if from above. Ignition switch would be my second item to check closer. But starter should probably fix it. When you say battery is fully charged it should have a voltage also around 12.8.

Car wont start

Sounds like you have a shorted wire causing a drain. I recommend disconnecting the alarm all together which should stop the short so battery can remain fully charged.
