Question about 1989 Ford Thunderbird
I just bought a thunderbird 1989 70k miles for 700$. I took my Car to test for emissions and it failed at Idle. I put in new spark plugs and noticed that the #5 plug was not working. The distributer cap works and so does the wire. I also noticed that there was a high pitch noise coming from the block. I checked everything exterior i could for leaks and couldn't find any. Could the sound be related to why the plug isn't working? What do i do to fix it?
Could be a dead cylinder. Bad compression ya know. If the plug is firing, and it is missing still, check internally.
