Question about 1987 Chevrolet Suburban
I have a 87 silverado it ran fine one day then would not start after that i replaced ign coil cap rotor plugs wires checked all fuses no broken wires and still no spark can anyone help
Have you pulled the sparkplug wire off the #1 plug. and use a spare plug into the boot. Becareful at this point it will shock you. Turn the car over and see if there is a spark created from the spare plug. The Silverado's have a few fuseable links they are inline of certian wires. You might have a bad fuseable link. You also need to check Grounding points and ground wires. If they are rusted or broke it can prevent your system from making a complete circuit . Time to chase wire with a voltage tester. checking sections of wire at a time. with out being there to look over the system. That are a few suggestions.
