Question about 2006 Toyota Corolla
My 2006 Toyota Corolla was making a weird sound until it warmed up, then the sound went away. The other day my check engine light came on while I was driving then my car died while I was driving it. I wasn't driving very fast when this happened (around 30 m.p.h.). When the mechanic first looked at it, it started up for him for 30 seconds then died. He won't have a chance to look at it again until Monday. Do you know what could be wrong with? If so, what is a reasonable estimate? Thank you for your time.
Sorry but there is no way to give you an estimate. The mechanic will hook your car up to a scan tool and will read the stored codes and then will start to preform some diagnostic work to figure out what your problem is. He will then be able to create an estimate for you.
