It sounds like all of your gauges are in one "cluster". If that is the case, they entire cluster can go out. If it is a cluster, you will have to replace the entire cluster. GM makes several products that are made that way. You may be able to find a good "how to" video on YouTube. It may even tell you if it is or isn't a cluster.
Sometimes when the batery of vehicle goes flat or when u fit a new car batery to the bantams they love to give that problems like gauges not working rpm not working speedo not working and cluster display is dead, u disconect the batery termanils and for example fit positive termanil and arc. Or short til that blue spark occur then u swop around negative on and arc positive, leave the ignition switched on arc til gauges move!! Don't ask me why but that happend to me! A autoelek friend of mine showed me this! NB don't tri this with vehicles with a lot of elektric featers it can cause demage to ecu (engine control unit)
did you replace the speedo sensor at trans and if so make sure it is the right one and that it is all the way plugged in and make sure there is nothing on or blocking the gear in trans
mine stoped working and i had to do a cluster diagnostic by pushing and holding the milege reset button untill the diagnostic test starts this might solve your problem
