Left head gasket repair problem

I am replacing my head gaskets in my 2002 Buick Rendezvous. I have a problem with my left (front) head. I have it ready to remove but my left engine strut mount is in the way of removing the last head bolt. My manual (Chilton's) doesn't say anything about removing the left engine strut and I can't figure out how it comes off.

Head gasket or IM gasket? 05 rendezvous overheats..pushing fluid back to top of radiator or to reserve when cap is on. i think there's antifreeze on spark plug threads and maybe in cylinder for #2..ge

If it has the 3400 v6, better known as the 3.4litre, this motor was prone to head gasket failures. Antifreeze on spark plugs is a sign of head gasket failure, so is antifreeze in the oil. Have a mechanic put a dye in the cooling system that is detected with a certain light and that will tell you exactly where it's coming from. Headgasket repair is not cheap. May be easier and cheaper to replace the motor. Wish you the best!

Oil in coolant on 02 buick rendezvous

did you have an oil change when you had the head gaskets replaced?
IF so, your heads are VERY possibly cracked/warped...

Or the gaskets weren't installed correctly!

I have a 2004 Buick Rendezvous that runs hot. Replaced the thermostat, manifold gasket, radiator, had the fans checked and still runs hot. What else could be the problem?

cylinder head gaskets, or cracked cylinder heads, this is a bad problem with the 3400 engine, so bad that we keep a set of heads in stock at the shop.....SORRY

Whats wrong if u see oil in the antifreeze tank and it keeps overheating

Maybe a blown head gasket, cracked head or a cracked block.... A mechanic can probably tell by doing a compression test
