Question about 1989 Porsche 944

Open Question

Porsche 944 ac compressor switch bad

The compressor switch button in my porsche 944 is bad. I am looking for a way to bypass the switch button but not sure exactly how to do so. I know that I need to find what wires go to the switch and which come from it, and then connect them together. The problem is, the switch is on a circuit board and I am not sure how to locate the wires to and from it. I am trying to avoid buying a whole new climate control panel. Please Help!!

SOURCE: 1985 944 porsche speedometer stop working

There is a gear in the speedo that breaks. This is plastic gear on a metal shaft. The last fix I did was to remove speedo and open it up. I super glued the cracked gear to the shaft because I was unable to find a new one. It worked again with no future problems. I hope this helps.

The stop watch can only be set in motion if the

Does a 1983 porsche 944 2.5L have a fuel shut off switch if so where is it located

I would jump the fuel pump relay first. If it starts replace the relay. Or fix it. Bad diode in it. $50 compared to 50 cents. Done many of them.

You have a cracked condensation pan on your AC or a bad hose (could be cracked or clogged). You'll need to remove the dash to investigate which it is.

A/c Compressor won't turn on

Hi all air-con system have a tririster switch usually screwed into the pipe near the aircon radiator or Drier (Cylinder shape near Rad) these are known for failing and will kill the circuit to the compressor its there to make sure the compressor does`nt run with no gas in it,get a wiring diagram and bridge it, will be 2 of the 3/4 wires going to the switch, but yes check the wiring as well.
