I doubt very much wether the block is cracked it is more likely to either be a heater hose may be leaking or a welsh plugs ( little round dish shaped plug ) in the side of the block i would first check all the heater hoses and the look on the side of the motor for a possible welsh plug leak i'd say its hoses tho

if it is coming from behind the r front tire and is a 4cyl the water pump has an o-ring that fits between pump and block and is behind timing cover where you can not see it. usually if it is leaking you can look under car at the engine on r-side at p/s pump area and can see where coolant has run down oil pump to oil pan from behind t-cover. hope this helped give me more info if not and good luck................

Where is the oil filter located on a 1986 chrysler fifth avenue

under the passenger side of engine, just ahead of the transmission bell housing. You can reach it by turning the wheels all the way to the left, and sliding under the car behind the passenger side front tire.

Where is my oil filter on my 1997 chrysler concorde... trying to change the oil and can't find it

turn the steering wheel to the left. Look behind the drivers front tire. In between the sub-frame and the uni-body right behind the alternator or power steering pump.

Where is the engine oil drain plug on a 1998 gmc jimmy ?

i have a 96 and an 01, go under the truck from behind the drivers side front tire, the drain plug is at the back of the oil pan just behind front skid plate, the oli filter is right behind the front bumper , there is a trap door to get to the filter, but that's only for 4x4 or awd modle's, 2wd filter's are on the drivers side of the enging infront of the starter

Blown tire hit the car

i would highly recommend getting it checked out by either a shop or someone you personally know and trust that has auto knowledge... the black oil leak is most likely engine oil... the light and thin aluminum manufacturers use now days can break under just the right conditions... heat and stress... when the tire piece went under your car it may have hit your oil pans(engine and transmission.. red oil) and caused either the pan gaskets to leak.. or maybe even the pans them selves to get cracks... hopefully it's just the gaskets... not too hard to fix and ALOT less costly then new pans... as for the light .. no clue what it's supposed to be...but good luck
