Question about 1999 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz Sl Class
The van surge when it get hot. the code i get from the scan tool is fuel pump relay low voltage and it rattles when it start to surge. i changed the relay but still doing the same thing.changed the computer, fuel pump, tried an air flow sensor nothing any idea what this problem could be?
Check your ground for the fuel pump relay 1st-next see what the voltage is supposed to be and what you are actually dealing. I doubt the computer sends voltage to the relay if it is even controlled by the computer it is going to be controlled by ground. Most likley the supply voltage comes from the ignition switch or a power relay. Need to test the basics before putting too many parts in it.
