My 2006 Chevy Trailblazer will not start.

It makes that bad starter clicking sound. I attempted to locate the starter but I do not know what to look for on this model vehicle.

It's under the car where the transmission meets the back end of the engine, looks like a big juice can with a smaller one stuck to it on top.(battery main cable goes there) Disconnect battery before removing it.Before taking it apart, have the battery tested and make sure that the cable ends and battery terminals are clean!

What would keep causing my crank fuse to keep blowing in my 2006 Chevy Trailblazer?

Check the draw on the starter when you crank it... Sounds like a starter to me too. there could be a bad short in the wiring. check all wiring to starter and the ground wires. if it will not crank. start at fuse box and trace wiring to the starter. something is putting a bad draw on the cranking curcuit. make sure, all connections are clean and tight. try this. it only makes sense that if you disconnect the ignition wire from starter. then try to start. if fuse does not blow, it has to be the starter thats drawing to much power. have a good day ! hope this info helped you!!

2006 Chevy Trailblazer makes THUD when accelerating

Check your coolant level, low coolant or air in your cooling system will make a "thud"noise in your heater core when the engine is under load from acceleration. The coolant rushes in to the heater core where the air pocket is trapped and then your hear the noise.
Start with the simple and make sure your coolant level is correct and then try to purge the system to remove the air out for your coolant system.
Thank you for using fixya and good luck

2006 chevy trailblazer will not start/turn over, all electrical seems to work. nothing happens when key in start position - work electrical switches - door locks, rear view mirror, power windows, seats etc...

Sounds like the starter is the culprit, when the brushes in it are almost gone they will work intermittently and if the brushes aren't touching then you won't even get a click because of the lack of ground for the pull in portion of the starter solenoid winds. The next time it won't start, give the starter a tap or two to confirm this.It should start if i'm right. The starter is under the passengers side just to the rear of the front tire, bolted to the bell housing.
