If your battery fully charge and is good.... your starter gear might stuck with the flywheel gear, that's why your starter wont turn and drop all the current causing your gauges malfunctions.
try to turn your engine in any directions by using socket wrench that fit to you crank shaft or anything useful just to release your starter gear from the flywheel.

Probably the battery. Try jump starting it. Check to see if you left anything on overnight (dome light, etc.)

2007 Dodge Caravan won't start.Batt. is good, all lights work, Turn key, solenoid clicks and stops, all gauge needles slowly move to max., and return to min. No codes displayed.

When you try to start it do the lights dim way low, have you been able to start it with a jump from another vehicle, unfortunately, chances are the starter needs to be replaced. How many miles does it have?

Coolant gauge has stopped working

I'm not a Peugeot expert, but do you know if the engine is warming up normally ?
The thermostat could be stuck open, or the engine could be low on coolant, or the sending unit for the gauge may have failed. If the engine is warming up you should be able to ground the wire to the sender and watch the gauge move.

Car no start problem is sometimes very difficult to confirm. You try all the possible things, but still you get no fault and problem is still the same.--------
In that case, you need to check few things individually.
Check the spark, the battery, the crank, the fuel and other most possible parts. Click this link below for more details:-- http://howtobyme.blogspot.com/2011/10/car-troubleshooting-tips.html

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang V6. For a while now my car has made a rattling sound whenever I turn it on, when I am idling, and sometimes when I accelerate. I haven't noticed any real consequences yet,...

Rattles could be anywhere in a car. Most of the time it is a bolt that has loosened and allowing something to move back and forth. Suggest you try to localize the rattle to which area of the engine from sound and then push and pull on items and see which one moves in that area.

Most of the things that would rattle, are not things that would cause over-heating, so I wouldn't worry on that account.

Ive been having issues with my temp gauge sometimes it will move but it will just drop back down randomly and go back up again and sometimes it wont do anything but its never just worked properly sitting...

Its fine, temp needle going up shows that engine is warming up and as soon as the radiator fan starts, temp of coolant drop and this is shown by the temp gauge needle. In most cars (even mine) it stays in middle most of the time unless you are in a traffic with AC on, it will show up more temp. What you can do is get the radiator flushed and coolant changed. Also check the water pump. To do so when engine is cold (in first start in morning), open the radiator cap and ask someone to rev the engine. If the coolant level moves up and down then water pump is also fine.

TEMPERATURE GAUGE NEEDLE DOESN'T MOVE

Its likely a bad connection at the sending unit for the gauge Dont confuse it with the ECT engine collant tempature sensor that will have more wires going to it. They bolth will be in the area of the thromostat near the upper radiator hose connection depending on witch engine you have clean the connection the unit varly rarely goes bad

it mite sound weird but your alternator mite be the prob like the diode on it can be out and it will make your car not start that is why your gauge jump like that so next time your gauge's jump as you try to start it but it just clicks it mite be the alt. hope this will help people out there.

1998 Honda Accord V6 3.0L LX Coupe --- Temperature gauge issue

I'm guessing that you have resistance in the wire from the gauge to the instrument cluster or that the grounding is bad somewhere. Still have a problem? Leave it alone because you know what is 'right' or insert a resistor in the line to recalibrate it.
