Question about 1993 Plymouth Voyager

1993 Voyager break light on -no power brakes

Started out the brake light would come on for a few seconds and power brakes would go off, then over several months increased to a few minutes before light would go back off and power brakes come on. Now Break light is on all the time except for an occasional minute or two at which time the light goes off and the power brakes come back on.

Spray some silicone underneath the brake peddle- way up in there. pump the brake a few times.
The thing up there gets stuck. Happens to my 95 van.

Break light not working on a 1998 plymouth grand voyager expresso

If you are saying the brake light and parking light on one side is dead, the problem would be in the socket or the ground connection.
There would be two different circuits involved. And the rear parking lights are powered by the same fuse as the front.
The brake lights are on one fuse too.

Yes a 1993 Chrysler / dodge / plymouth with Antilock brake system has lifetime warrenty on said system. It is a bad design and dangerous. Mine stopped working and it took extreme pressure on brake pedal plus emergency brakes to get it stopped.

Can the abs brakes system be changed to a standard system and how?

Anything that disables the ABS,pull the fuse, disconnect a wheel sensor, unplug the controller,
will turn on the ABS light and the brakes will be normal base brakes.

This morning when I started my '98 Voyager. It started for about five seconds then turned off. This happened three times. Started it one more time and revved the engine. Same thing, five seconds then off....

I think the reason it starts and turns off is most likely you fuel pump the abs light on could be the brake fluid level and or the brakes may need replaced.

Fixing brakes

Try bleading the brakes, sounds like you have in them. Than the ABS light should go out & you shouldn't have to worry about the fuses.
