Engine Light On

I have a 2007 Honda Accord, I was driving and my car starting to putt, wouldn't pick up speed and the engine light came on. I read the manual and it says it has something to do with the emissions control system. What could the problem be?

You need to connect the data port to an automotive scanner which will read the code and report why the light went on. You can pay $75 for this service at the dealer, or you can get it done free at an auto parts store such as Advance Auto, maybe Pep Boys. Give them a call.

There are over 200 reasons for the check eng light to come on, have a scanner hooked up and see what trouble code is present in the memory, likely causes are MAF sensor or a low fuel pressure condition or engine missfire

Check engin light !!!

You need to have your Honda checked for engine trouble codes. Most parts stores offer this as a free service. They connect a hand held 'scan' tool to your cars diagnostic port (usually under the dash) and scan for codes stored on the cars computer. They can tell you what codes they 'pull' from the computer, what they mean, and offer solutions to the problem. If after that you have further questions, post them here along with the code #'s. Good luck.
