My horn stop working and when I lock the doors with remote key it wont sound when you lock the doors Forgot to add that it is a 2012 Ford Escape Horn does not work from the inside either. Is it a fuse

Does the horn sound when you press it on the steering wheel if not check for a blown fuse to horn and then if ok see if you have power to horn and then if that is ok run a wire from the battery to the horn and see if it honks.

2003 acura tl horn does not work when pressed but alarm horn works

If the alarm horn is the same unit used as the car horn then your problem is the contacts for when the horn is pressed. Some horns are activated by pressing the large center area of the steering wheel others have little buttons on the left and right side of the steering wheel. If the latter is the case make sure you try both pressure buttons to see if horn will work. Either way the contacts have to be cleaned or the wheel needs to be adjusted to allow the contacts to touch each other when pressed. That's most likely your problem.

Horn wont work

Sounds like the horn button located in the steering wheel has gone bad. Most of today's cars also have the driver airbag located the same unit. To repair/replace one you must replace the entire unit. Your locking system blows the horn directly without going through the horn button on the steering wheel, similar to a doorbell working from both front and back door of your house. The horn button/air bag unit can be purchased at your dealer. Hope this helps.

1996 SC2 saturn I hit my horn and it stayed on.Disconnected the battery to turn it off. Reconnected battery now it wont work. Check the fuse, it looks fine. Is the horn bad? Where is the horn located?...

From what you say I would first replace the horn relay, in the fuse block, if that does not do it I would suspect the horn switch in the steering wheel. If you must, you can disconnect the horn from its plug and jumper the battery right to it with an old extension cord. You will find the horn, looks like a small black fat in the center pancake with a horn opening, more or less under your left front headlight assembly and to the left of the radiator. Bare the ends of the extension cord, have a confederate hold one set to the battery terminals and you touch the other ends briefly to the connectors on the horn. If it toots then your horn is not the bad guy. Relay is a cheap and easy first step, horn switch in the steering wheel is not so easy.

Horn does't work n 2000 suburbun

Most systems have a horn, a relay, a fuse, and a switch inside the steering wheel. If you can find the horn, usually in the front behind the grille or next to the radiator, you can jump it directly from the battery with two heavy wires to see if it works. If it does not toot with power directly from the battery it is bad. If it does toot then find where the fuses/relays are by reading your owner's manual and replace the horn relay and/or fuse. Relays are generally plugged into the fuse panel too. You can visually inspect the fuse for failure. If no problem there then you are at the steering wheel disassembly and testing level which means special tools and knowledge. Due to airbag even a veteran shade tree mechanic will not venture into a steering wheel so dealer is indicated.
