Question about 2000 GMC Safari
Need to know if i am capable of replacing the front driver side wheel bearing on this car myself or if i should just bring it in to the mechanic. I've done this before on other older cars however have never attempted this on a car as new as this one.
Yes is fairly easy job because the wheel bearing comes off whit the brake rotor just remove the brake caliper the rotor center cap the safety ping and the center nut on the brake rotor the hole thing will come off but "NOTE" you are going to need a new brake rotor because if the bearing was bad probably the rotor is bad to a new grease retainer seal and of course plenty of grease.
