I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 and overall in runs good other than when I get up to 55 it jerks a little bit. I can give it more gas to speed up and it stops. Why is it doing that?

Have to look at scan tool data & take the scan tool on a road test

I would say you may have cylinder misfires, egr issues, maybe fuel
system problem

Only looking at data under the right conditions will find something

Don't start installing parts, that is never a fix

sounds more likely to be a warn sensor could be cam or crank sensor, its not being able to read engine speed to adjust time.

I installed new intake monifold gaskets because the bottom one was sucking air in and my 1996 dodge intrepid 3.5 liter engine would run at 2300 RPM'S. After changing the gaskets the car is hard to start...

Take it to bits again and check the gasket you put on and all the other gaskets as it still sounds like you have air sucking and a blockage somewhere else so check out all parts you done and the parts you dident

These is because of the improper combustion, so you better check the air filter and the exhaust along with that you replace all the spark plugs
