Question about 1993 Dodge Caravan
Our 1996 Caravan has developed a strange electrical problem. Recently, when the car was started, the yellow "ABS" light on the upper dash stayed illuminated, and the radio did not work. A few days later we had the problem again, and we were able to do a bit more testing. What does not work includes: ABS warning light Radio Ventilator fan Windshield wipers Maybe more -- we don't know Headlights all seem to be fine. The failure is intermittent -- shutting the car off and waiting a few minutes seems to clear whatever is causing the fault. I have a suspicion that all these things are related through a common connection, or relay, or something. The problem is, I don't have a wiring diagram of the vehicle to troubleshoot it. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem? thanks, Isaac i have a 1993 caravan, after my wife backed into the left rear corner, we now have no radio, interior lights, door locks or rear deack releasel everything else works fine. i am at a loss of what to look at next or where to go
Check your battery. My 98 caravan was running fine but my battery was almost shot. Changing the battery and replacing, or just taking out, the IOD fuse for 30 minutes, fixed several intermittent electrical problems I was having. BUT, it's only a temporary fix. My new battery lasted 7 months before I started having electrical problems again and I already need a new battery. I'm still trying to find out what the underlying problem is and why my batteries don't last. My alternator is fine. I've heard it could be the Body Control Module.

Check the supply feed from the battery where it goes into a terminal block .Should be near the battery
