Question about 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan
Cigarettte lighter won't work
If yo know how check for voltage from the center of the socket (positive) to a frame ground, you should have 12 volts dc with key switch in any position (check all positions) if you do replace the lighter assembly, if no voltage check your fuses, if the fuses are good then you have a power supply problem, this can be fixed by running a new FUSED circuit to the lighter socket.

I have had the same problem. Dealer said it was a corroded wiring connection. They changed it and problem was fixed. I suspect a lot of corrosion problems will occur eventually on my Saturn including the rear wiper wiring, which has gradually stopped working.
