Chevy Monte Carlo Brake pulsation

2001 Chevy Monte Carlo-Has had issue since bought in 2003 apparently. My fiance's car, just drove it the other day. She says brakes have done this since she got it 6 years ago and brake technician told her it was normal, I don't think so. At any speed if brakes are applied, you can feel brake pulsation in the pedal and in the car. Looked at the pads, and all look good except the driver's side, which are much thinner than the passenger side or rears. My thought is a bad wheel speed sensor in the passenger side, thus making the driver's side work harder, there is also a little blueing on the driver's side disc. The ABS light does not come on. It is exactly the type of pulsation one would get if the ABS system was active on a slick road.
Does this sound like the issue,or is there something else I should know/ look for. Discs appear to be in good shape. How difficult is the wheel speed sensor to replace, I have a pretty good grasp on mechanical stuff. Any one else have similar issues?

Check the rotors, go to a different shop and have them check lateral run-out and to check for parallelism of the rotors, if that is not it i dont know

The battery died on my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo and after the first time I jumped it and drove it around a little to try and charge the battery, the Security light came on. After I parked it and turned it...

Im pretty knowledgable in the whole SECURITY light issue... I dont think this could cause the door lock to not work correctly, but anything is possible. Newer cars are wound up pretty tight. Here is a link to help understand how the security works.

I'd go ahead and do a "security relearn" on you car. It might help if that is what caused the door issue.
Turn the key forward 2 clicks till right before it would normally start, leave like that for 10 minutes. ( no less ) Turn back your key to regular position and check the door lock. May have to do this process 3x
