Question about 1984 Dodge Caravan
My 1975 dodge santana 318 motor in my van is miss-firing, and i just replaced the spark plug wires so im thinking i may have placed one of the wires in the wrong spot. i know the firing order, but i have no idea where the wires need to be placed. can anyone help? p.s. my van is really rare, and is not actually a caravan, thats just the only thing close to what my van is. also its a 1975 not 84
Turn the crankshaft till the timing mark is at 0...Check where the rotor points...if towards the back of the engine, turn one more time till it points to front. It is now at #1 on cap. Plugs are 1357 on left bank, 2468 on right. order is 18436572 in that order around cap in the direction the rotor turns when cranking.
