That is not a short it is an open circuit, a short is when a hot wire touches ground and sparks, u will need to replace the DRL module.

Why my hazard lights click when not on.

it might be a short in either your hazzard switch (behind panel, above radio) or the bcm ( body control moduel, which is in a plastic panel under the glovebox). either of these places are good places to start to look for the clicking sound.

Service engine light comes on at 50 mph after i let off the gas and coast a short distance driving around town is fine no light

Ths is more than likely a signal from one of yoour 02 sensors. On deceleration your engine is not burning any fuel at absolute efficiency. If the cat converter doesn't burn off the excess unburned fuel the 02 sensor indicates something is wrong. It needs to be chked with an exhaust analyxer to determine if the fuel is too rich or the converter is failing. Good Luck

02 Boxster headlights wont turn on

the light fault sound like the switch itself, the clicking heard will be the relay once a good connection is made at the switch. If the engine management light has come on it will have an emmisions related fault and will need further attention, this is not related to the service schedule

Clicking when signal light is not on.

You have a bad hazard flash switch (your 4 way flasher) you have a short inside the switch ,very common you will need to replace it to stop the problem
