Question about 2003 Subaru Outback
Air conditioning sometimes works very well, but only for short periods of time. On very hot days it hardly functions for more than a few minutes. I think it does better at higher speeds like on the Interstate. Stop and start driving in town seems to negatively effect functioning.
Check the cooling fans and air flow through radiator,,,,ensure there is no plastic bag stuck over the radiator and look in between the radiator and condenser as those can find their way inside that very small distance between the radiator and a/c condenser. Fans and airflow is a must.
