2011 chevy Cruze cranks but will not start

Key on but dont start
press the reset button near the pedal for 5s until light disapper
remove key
press lock unlock using manual button on door.
press lock unlock button on key while inside the car
unlock again using key
insert key and fire.

not on these new cars.. its a child safety thing..may want to get a second key made..

Ucadam... I'm having the same problem with mine. Makes 1 click but won't turn over. I tested the battery and its reading 12.4 v and when it does start the battery is reading 14v so I know it's not a battery or immobiliser issue... Did you end up finding out exactly what the issue was?

Either on the frame rails or radiator support.

My Chevy cruze anti theft locked on me it was as simple as my key was faulty used extra key and guess what engine started key was damaged

Check on frame rail on drivers side, near front of gas tank.

Looks like you've covered the basics, make sure the firing order is correct with your spark plug wire replacement. Hope this diagram helps.

hello, i have seen a couple jobs like yours, i have found as well as GM that the fuel pump ground can be bad, try to remove ground and reposition on clean steel, no paint , rust or, undercoating. thr wire should come from fuel pump harness and drop down to left rear frame rail! check there first...good luck, marty

Try looking to see if your injectors are clogged or if fuel is getting to the fuel rail. You can take the hose that is on the fuel rail off then try starting it or just pump the gas pedal and you should see gas coming out. I had a similar problem with my 97 neon and this was my problem just try and see, you never know.
