Thanks so much. We actually struck lucky and got the bonnet, entire front slam panel with radiators and electric fan for very little cash!!! And the bonnet was black same as mine!!!! All I need now is a viscous fan and bumper. I will try the sites you suggested, thanks for taking the time to reply!

Check with www.shokan.com or www.force5.com - both are Audi salvage yards that can supply everything you need. Also go to www.audiforums.com and look through the classifieds - lots of people are selling parts there, and they're probably less money than the yards are.

How do you remove the front bumper to get to the radiator

If you need to remove the entire front bumper. Remove the 3 Phillips head screws in each inner fender (both sides edge of bumper by wheel). Remove the two 8mm bolts that you now have access to and go straight up (behind the inner fender). Remove the three 10mm bolts along the top of the radiator. Crawl underneath and pull the centers out of the plastic push clips (seven I think). Slide the bumper off.

Hope that helps, thanks for using FixYa.

What parts are needed for replacing the front end of a 2001 monte carlo? I find bumper covers, reinforcements, energy absorbers, etc. Do I need some or all of these?

It depends on how far in the damage goes. Usually fenders, hood, bumper cover and headlights, but if the damage is deep, you could need a bumper, absorbers, the bumper mounts, even the radiator support assembly, which requires welding.

Pull off the damaged parts and set them aside, and then go to gmpartsdirect.com and click on the catalog link, fill in your make and model and look for the bodyparts you need to replace.

Someone backed into my 01 Ranger and the front bumper tilted, the back end down and the front end in to the underside of the grill with no damage to the grill and the bumper still looks straight how would...

first you have to remove the bumpers, if the reinforcement underneath needs to be pulled then do it, it you think the alignment is good enough then you can put the bumper back again. hope this helps

I ran over a cement block in my Audi A4 and my car was leaking power steering fluid or fluid from my radiator. What could I have damaged under the front bumper?

Well, your radiator doesnt have power steering fluid in it!
if its blue or green, its probably antifreeze from a cracked radiator.
if its red, it could be TQF or what ever audi uses.
Has the steering failed?
Is it still leaking?
Either way, its the garage you need to call for a fix!

Front Bumper

Chances are the shop that initially replaced your bumper didn't do it right and the shoddy install left it sitting lower than it should have. Because of this, you were able to snag the bumper on the parking block. The reason you have to replace it is most likely the mounting bolt holes were torn out or otherwise damaged when the bumper was caught, and there is no longer a mounting surface to use with new mount bolts to put the bumper back on.

Radiator in 1984 300zx

Maybe a little late, but you have to pull both fender liners so it is easier to get to the 3 nuts that hold the bumper to the fenders. There are 2 bolts that hold the bumper to the frame, one on each side underneath. There are 5 bolts that support th bumper to the reinforcement bar. It helps if you remove the air filter box. Once you removed the air filter box you need to remove the other 4 bolts from the second hood latch. The bumper should be ready to remove.

BMW E30, 320i, Model 89 - 91, plastic bumpers

The 6 cylinder coupling uses 3 bolts to hold the fanblade on.
The 4 cylinder uses 4 bolts.
If you are using a 4 bolt coupling, you have the right one. Check
to see if you haven't maybe put the fanblade on back to front.
Hope this helps you
