The water pump for the wipers are normally located in the washer fluid reservoir. If not, if not, find the hose that comes from the bottom of the resorvoir and follw it untill it reaches the pump.

Replacing wiper motor

uses a gm style pump, and is normal for the turbine section to break free from shaft. the motor will spin, but will not pump water.
or the head is cracked and not allowing pressure build up in turbine housing.
either case warrants replacing the pump assembly.

Fuse blows everytime I attempt to use the washer fluid.

really?! the water pump?! the water pump has nothing to do with your wipers it is part of the COOLING system. as for your issue...it could be a short in the wiper/signal arm in the steering column, or it could be the motor in your washer fluid bottle. the motor is what pushes the fluid through to your windshield and if its gone bad it will blow your fuses as well. i would start with the washer fluid reservoir motor and go from there

Windshield washers not pumping water to windshield

The most common problem I find in this season, is having summer 32 deg. F freezing windshield wiper fluid in the tank rather than -20 deg. F freezing windshield wiper fluid.

Try to warm up the car by parking it in a heated garage until the windshield wiper fluid thaws. Then, try to use it all up, and add the 'winter' vs. the 'summer' formula of windshield wiper fluid.

If this does not solve the problem, the pump might be burnt out, in my experience.

You should hear a humming sound as you depress the button for windshield wiper fluid inside of the car.

Good luck on this repair.

How can I check the fuse of the water pump for the rear wiper. the wiper move but no water coming out!

there are two pumps on the bottle one for the front and the other for the back. most likely the pump stopped working or something got in it and blocked the water flow. the pumps are at the bottom of the bottle. check them out first. they will be the same so you could switch them and see what happens. good luck

Cant get water through to the back windscreen wiper

Check for a broken wiper washer fluid hose leading to the rear nozzle.

Check that the wiper washer water pump works.

Check to make sure the switch is sending current to the washer pump motor.

Check that the rear nozzle is not clogged.

E39 touring 2003 front wipers are working but water is not coming from the pipe which is conected to the water bottle, i can hear that motor is running, back wiper is fine. some one told me it could be the...

I have not seen a remote filter for these they are usually on the motor itself. Take the hose loose from the pump and see if it is actually pumping out water or is it just running. If it is pumping pretty strong trace the rubber tube up to the wipers and make sure there is no breaks in it anywhere.

The washe pump is a known item that will fail, especially if the washer fluid froze one time. If the hoses are all clear, replace the washer pump motor.

Horn plus rear windscreen wiper not working

i presume you mean wiper water pump... first locate the relays for the horn and rear wiper and replace them... usually found in the fuse panel under the dash... then fill up the rear water resevoir for the back wiper and try it again.

Wipers do not spray water

And you have water in your wiper reservoir?

Do you hear the motor whine to pump water?

If the above are true, the jets are likely blocked.
