Front seat in 1996 Dodge Ram Pickup won't slide forward or back

My front passenger seat in a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 won't slide. For a while it was difficult to move and now it won't move at all. I'm not aware of any damage to it. Where should I start troubleshooting?

1.Make sure the stiff wire that crosses under the seat to the passenger side latch hasn't come off. 2.Soak the slides with some good penatrating oil (NOT WD40!).

On my extended cab, the front passenger seat will not slide all the way back to the lock position

There's probably something in the way. Get under and behind the seat with a flashlight and check the back end of the rails to see if something is there.

Replaced front seal on my '97 Dodge Ram 1500, V6

Assembly of converter to trans and then tunit to engine? The torque converter must engage and slide into the front pump. The seal is easily damamaged if not properly fitted.Once the trans is against the engine the converter can be slid forward to bolt the flex plste. There should not be more than approx. 1/4 inch between the converter and trans bell housing if the converter is properly mated to the trans. Good Luck, Ned.

I have a alfa omega car seat and cannot get it to fit into my dodge truck.I can get it in but the front seat has to be all the way almost and makes it real difficult for my passengers ,so what can we do?

We had our rear facing car seat in the back seat of our car , but when we went camping with our truck we put it in the front seat (center) . Our baby loved that she could sit and still see us.
Our truck was older , so did not have air bags which could be dangerous to the child.
Some newer trucks have a switch to turn off the passenger side air bag.

I have a 1996 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and im trying to remove the front hub assembly off the passenger side and cant figerout how to get the 3 boults out that houled it on. i can get the center one off

just remove the nuts on the back side of the hub. the hub will still be firmly in place. you will have to beat either the hub itself or on the bolts from the back to get it loose. they are usually in there pretty tight, so it will take quite a bit of force to get it loose.
