Just curious are all the doors closed? and Do you have the light switch tuned all the way up? this would cause them to lite up, if not then you need to adjust the door light switch it's not making contact and it is common with all ford trucks.

Removel of door panel

You will need to remove the outside panel to service the window or window regulator or the window motor. The outer panel is held in place with a dozen or so bolts that a male torx socket is needed to remove. You will first remove the trim piece that is on the upper back of the outside of the door, two screws. Then remove the window seal on the outside of the window. Then remove the outer door handle. Then remove the torx bolts and lift up on the door skin, you may have to wiggle a little to get it to pop.

The video is for an S-Series but the principal is the same. Good luck!

97 Mercury Mountaineer driver side door won't open. Outside handle flops around; inside handle won't open door

Try a slim jim first, down the side of the window. Or AAA or locksmith. If no luck, remove the seat first. Find the screws and bolts around the door handle and arm rest. Most Ford's have screws around the outer side of the panel. I don't believe your's does. The panel lifts or pops off. Once the panel is off, you can reach down and open the door. Just a note. I have done some to where the panel came out in pieces.

Brake lights won't come on after changing brake booster on 97 gmc 1500. Also won't shift into gear.

check for a bad brake light fuse! if not the fuse, the brake light switch operates brake lights and if bad you will not be able to shift it out of park, as well as the brake lights not coming on.! because you have to put foot on brake to do so. if bad switch, it wont let it out of park. it could be just out of adjustment also!! good-day !

Change a fuel punp on a 1987 dodge dakota

I have found that the easiest way is to remove the bed. Take the three nuts out that hold the flange inside of the fuel filler door. Remove the 8 bolts that hold the bed on from underneath. Unplug the tail light wires. One person on each side at the wheel well, lift it and slide it off, either completely, or half way (the second way helps to have two milk crates placed behind the vehicle). Remove the fuel lines and unplug the sending unit at the top of the tank. Unscrew the outer ring and remove the sending unit. Either that, or drop the tank which can damage the lines, etc.. then reconnect and lift the tank back into place. Removing the bed is usually the easiest route and the biggest time saver. Please rate my assistance, and leave a testimonial.

How do you remove the tail light assembly to change bulbs on a 2003 frontier sc.

There are two phillips-headed bolts on each inside corner of the truck bed, behind the tailgate latches, that may be used to attach the brackets for the optional bed extender. If you have a bed liner installed, you will need to pull the corner of the liner back to expose the bolts. The factory bed liner needs to be flexed around the upper cargo hook to gain access to the two hex head screws that hold the tail-light housing against the body.Remove the screws so the tail light housing gets loose and easily comes out. this will help.please keep updated for further assistance if more help required. thanks.

Dome lights turn off too soon

i believe they are controlled by the BCM so that may be why they are shutting down too soon!!
either that or maybe your battery voltage is low, and when that happens the BCM or ECM will auto shut them off to conserve the battery!!
so go get your battery tested first!!!
