2007 Pt Cruiser. Was driving on hwy. All at once it bucked on me loosing power then bucked the second time and died on me and wont restart can someone please help me

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also check for fuel injector pulse. If your missing all three, check the cam and crank sensors.
Can you check for applicable trouble codes?
I can only help with testing.

E30 bmw bad ground intermittant bucking

I would check the battery terminals to see if they are loose...then have the alternator checked to see if it is bad. Is your Check Engine light on? I had a 97 corolla that used to die on me or act erratic when driving. I wondered what the problem was since it happened at varying speeds, circumstances etc. I decided to take it to a really bumpy road just to see what would happen...I hit one good sized bump and the car shut off. Found that even though the battery terminals appeared tight, the negative cable wasn't. Tightened it up and never had the problem again.
