My 2003 BMW 325i blower fan has a mind of its own. When the car is turned off the fan keeps running. Sometimes all night long? I have a similar problem as well. For some reason the blower on my 02 BMW 325i runs intermittent as well. Turn it on low it blows properly then high then low etc.. Even as you state it keeps running even after the key is switched off???? Any advise from anyone else having the same problems.....

I HAVE A 2006 BMW 325I AND MY AIR CONDITION FAN IS NOT WORKING

Do you mean the inside fan? if so it is the "fan resistor". Can order from autopartswarehouse.com or similar.

What would make a 1994 bmw 325i run hot?

my friend owned this car and it got hot and he warped the head and the car was ruined... you should get it looked at right away. make sure the radiator fan is working .. check the fuses.... sometimes when you put the car on max a/c this will automatically turn the fans on.

My blower in my 2003 BMW 5 Series goes on and off, o mater whether its on Auto or manual. Sometimes takes forever to come on and sometimes not at all. Do you have a solution

there is a resistor that needs replacing. It's located inside the car, under the dashboard, near the steering column. If you don't replace, it could run your battery down, as the fan/blower will operate when the car is left.

Air condition kicking on and off

HI, i have a 2000 323i and it sounds like we have a similar problem. my a/c works fine when the blower is going but some times it goes out of control and it's almost like it has a mind of it's own. and sometimes i turn off the car and the blower keeps blowing air even if the car is completely off and the keys are out.
I'm replacing the blower resistor to fix that. i was at the delaer today and spoke to a mechanic and its a common problem on the final stage blower resistor. you have to reach the blower to replace it but its easyer that it sounds.

Good luck

The blower in my 325i has interuptions in the air flow?

You need a final stage resistor located under dash on passenger side - toward transmission tunnel/ center console. This controls fan speed and is very comon.

My 2003 BMW 325i blower fan has a mind of its own. When the car is turned off the fan keeps running. Sometimes all night long?

The problem would be what BMW calls the Final Stage Unit and parts house calls them Blower Resistor. Not sure why BMW and parts store calls them different.

Check out this BMW DIY post thats describes in detail the problem and how to fix it. Looking at about 80 bucks for the part.

2001 BMW 330i..Fan for AC/vent not working?

it's either a fuse or it's a bad blower motor, it could be a bad blower motor resistor but usually you'll get either high or low only, so if you have nothing on any speed, high low etc, and all the fuses are ok chances are it's your blower motor.
