Sound like the factory lube inside the regulator has turned to a tar like substanse through the years. Lubracants do have solvents mixed in it and as time goes by the solvents dry up causing this problem

1991 dodge dakota front brake sticks when driven 15 or 20 miles and pulls hard to the left

check the caliper it may be hanging up also check the rubber brake hose sometimes they collapse or swell causing drag either way you probably need 2 calipers and new lines(hoses) along with pads.

2005 equinox left front window some times will go up and down , however most times times it seems to stick won't go up or down unless you help it to start moving. Should you stop it half way it seems to...

I have a similar problem with the same window. The window doesn't stop moving but it tilts forward until it won't close properly leaving a 1 inch gap between the top left corner of the window and the door frame from the perspective of sitting in the drivers seat. I had the motor and regulator replaced but to no avail.
I took off the door panel, everything looked fine. Took off all the weather strips and the driver side mirror. Behind the mirror there is the top portion of the metal guide the edge of the window rides up and down. it was partially cracked and bulged out beneath the crack. I gently pounded it back in and cleaned out the guides on both sides with window cleaner and WD-40. The issue will not be completely fixed until I replace the metal guide but it runs much smoother now.

Noise in the front wheels sometimes when they are

hi
things to check in this order
If it is manual or stick check oil level in transmision first, some older cars have separate differential case fill with gear oil.
1 brake pads & rotors
2 check cv boots if crack or open cv joints could be dry, the are repackable with grease and a new boot.
3 with wheels off and calipers off turn your wheels by hand check for drag or grinding.
good luck!

Front brakes not releasing properly.

Sounds like the caliper needs replaced. Sometimes the pistons lock in the caliper and cause the brakes to drag. When the mechanic changed the brakes before, he pushed the pistons in all the way to accomodate the new brake pads. Now that they are wearing back down, it is getting to the warped spot in the caliper and starting to stick.

sounds like an electronic fault caused by the mini computer controling the gearbox functions, try another dealer as dealer only as good as the mechanics it employs.and like the old adage if you only pay peanuts you only get monkeys.but thinking about it ,their is a possibility of a piston sticking in the box thats controling the brake bands.buy a manual next time

Constant replacement of rear rotors

first i would the car to a professional auto repair shop and have the brakes evaluated. you may have to pay a small fee, but it will pay for itself in the long run. it sounds like the rear calipers are sticking or dragging, or the parking brake is also dragging. the rear calipers are actuated, they stop the car in normal braking and they also are used when the parking brake is applied, the caliper piston will move out and keep the car from rolling when the parking brake is applied. worst case senerio you may need to replace the rear calipers, caliper brackets, rear brake hoses and both rear rotors, unless they can be resurfaced. the vibration or pulsation is more than likely excessive runout or thickness variation in these rotors from the calipers dragging (not releasing). also if the car takes too much effort to stop and you have had to replace these rotors 4 times, that is not normal. have a repair shop check to see if the brake fluid is contaminated. a good and quick sign to check for contamination is if the rubber under the brake fluid cap is distorted.please do not drive this vehicle until it is checked out by a professional auto repair shop. thanks

Front brakes binding and grinding

Sounds like your brake calibers are sticking. Get new ones and new pads. You probably should get new rotors also because with the dragging calibers they most likely got hot and are warped. Search on ebay and www.rockauto.com . I personally use power stop drilled and slotted rotors with mid grade pads. You can probably get a whole kit.
