I put new battery in, now can not start. What do I do ? this is a 2000 jaguar s-type.

TRY TO REARM IMMOBILIZER.PUT KEY IN THE IGNITION TURN IGNITION ON POSITION.TO ENSURE ALARM LED ILLUMINATES FOR 3 SECONDS.IF LED FLASHES MORE THAN 3 SECONDS,SYSTEM MALFUNCTION. UNPLUG BATTERY CAUSE PCM TO LOSE MEMORY.KEEP KEY IN IMMOBILIZER IN ON POSITION FOR 3 SECONDS AT A TIME.IF LED ILLUMINATES MORE THAN 3 SECONDS.CAR HAVE TO BE TOWED IN AND REPROGRAM.ANY TIME YOU DISCONNECT BATTERY BEST TO HAVE MEMORY SAVER PLUG IN THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET TO KEEP POWER GOING TO PCM.

Hi

There is one method you ca try, first ensure the car is unlocked but with the keys out of the car. then disconnect the battery for about 2hrs, overnight if possible. this should reset the car immobiliser and ECU. When putting the battery back on connect the red first then the black i that order.

If no joy get back to me I have a few oher solutions.

Regards and happy new year

Hi i have a 2004 BMWx5 and would like to know which fuse is related to the radio.

Have you removed the access cover in the rr corner of the cargo area? On the backside of the cover should be a labeling of the fuses. The fuses are behind the cloth cover in the corner. I believe the radio fuse is back there.

Car still won't start

Don't remember posting anything to you, But, regardless, first a question... Can you turn off the flashers
at the switch?? Do you have an alarm system? (if so, possible malfunction there) Otherwise, check battery grounds and connections (other ends of cables from battery) if you have one, check start relay&or starter solenoid!
