I found this on wiki... seems like it may work...
Disconnecting the negative cable can sometimes reset the message center
light, however there is a procedure for this. Depending on the year of
your venture this will vary, so to be sure the reset worked, do the
    following.
Key on, engine off, all doors closed...
    push the
gas pedal all the way to the floor briefing in succession 2 times, then
do it a third time but hold the pedal down on the third pump. Keep
holding until the message center flashes your maintenance light.

If there is no flashing, turn the key off, then back on, and repeat the
above mentioned procedure, only this time push the pedal 3 times, then
hold it on the 4th time. If still no blinking, repeat by tapping the
pedal 4 times, then hold on the 5th. Finally, tap pedal 5 times, then
    on the 6th, hold it.

GM could not decide which pedal counts
to stick with for this procedure, so that's why my instructions seem
repetitive. My wife's 02 Venture is 4 presses, then the 5th is held.

Ford explorer trac 2007 change the oil and filter and now have a wrench light on ,how resolve the problem

Sounds like you need to reset your Oil life/ maintenance reminder light. (also, double check your oil level)

To reset Oil life on a standard dash stlye:
1. pres and release the TRIP/RESET button until the message center displays SETUP MENU HOLD RESET
2. Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button for 2 seconds until the message center displays RESET FOR SYS CHECK
3. press and hold the TRIP/RESET button for 2 seconds until the message center displays OIL LIFE xx% RESET IF NEW
4. Press and release the TRIP/RESET button until the message center displays HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL
5. Press and hold TRIP/RESET button for 2 seconds and release to reset oil life to 100%
6. Message center will briefly display OIL CHANGE SET TO 100%

With a message center cluster the procedure is as follows:
1. press and release SETUP button until message center displays PRESS RESET TO BEGIN SYSTEM CHECK
2. Press and release RESET button until the message center displays HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL
3. Press and hold RESET button for 2 seconds and release to reset the oil life to 100%
4. The message center displays SETUP MENU HOLD RESET

Hope this is what you need/ are looking for. Goodluck & let me know how it goes, or if you have a different problem.

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that the floor messaging center quit working. Is there any suggestions on what might be wrong and or how to fix it?

Hi Leann, I'm glad to help!

There are only 2 possibilities with your problem. (1) Its possible you may not have power OR ground going to the message center. If you know someone that knows how to use a test light they could check power and ground at the message center. (2) The message center itself could be defective. If your friend finds power and ground at the message center then you'll need to replace the message center. If they do not find either power or ground at the message center. Then they'll need to check all the fuses to see which one is blown. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Leann.

"Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" keeps coming on on my message center, each time I start the car

You need to put a scanner on the computer and read the codes, then repair the codes called for and using the scanner clear the codes and you will be ok. The button on the message center doesn't reset the computer it just clears the code from the screen.

How to clear the "Check Tires" message from the info panel on the dashboard. I already adjusted the tire pressure in all tires using a digital gauge.

Press the message center SETUP button until the message center displays "Rest for System check". The message center will display "Hold reset to relearn". Hold the reset button. It will cycle through all of its indicators and when it gets to the tire indicator test it will ask you if you want to reset the indicator. Hold the reset button to reset the indicator.

It will not go off until it has been reset.

Passenger Airbag

as long as the srs light is not on the srs system is functioning properly. There is a passanger seat recognition senser and some vehicles are equiped with baby smart-which disables the passanger front air bag when a mercedes child seat is placed on the passanger front seat. More than likley the airbag is being manually switched off. there should be a place on the dash or center console to place the mechanical part of your smart key into and turn the air bag on or off.Once the system is reactivated clear the message in the cluster or turn off your ignition and remove the key and then reinsert key and turn on-this should clear the memmory of the cluster and your message center should not display any warnings
