Question about 2005 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz E320 Cdi

1 Answer

LT signal fault

Dash indicates front LT bulb is faulty. I exchanged LF and RF bulbs and sockets and still indicates LF is fault. By exhchanging sockets with bulbs I isolated the fact that the bulb is good.

this is a 2003 C320

It is very difficult to diagnose your problem without being in front of your vehicle. But I will let you in on a tip-This vehicle substitutes bulbs for inoperable bulbs i.e. if your brake light goes out the bulb monitoring system will substitute your tail lights in place of the inoperable brake light. It can be frustrating you are not very familiar with your vehicle because when the brake switch is depressed you will see lights on and still get the message on the heads up display. also it is very important that the bulb wattage is exact. any difference in resistance will trigger a inop bulb problem. Also I believe that the turn signal is a dual filament bulb-one for turn signal and the other for your running lights. hopefully I have been helpful

I have a Chevrolet cobalt and the left turn signal will not work the inside light on dash flashes fast. I have changed the light bulb still doesn't work.

Fast flashing usually indicates that one of the exterior bulbs isn't functioning. You've checked front and rear signal lights, right? If the bulb is good, it could be corrosion in the socket, bad ground, broken wire, etc.

Lf rear turn signal not working. LF front, RT front & rear working. Replaced with 3 new bulbs but no joy. What would cause one blinker to not work?

This could be a fuse so check them all, next make sure you are not missing a burned out light or have the wrong bulbs in.

Replace the flasher unit, make sure the connections in each socket is clean, make sure the wires are in good order.

Also the switch control might be at fault.
hope this helps.

No brake lights or turn signal

Remove the rear light housings on the back of your GMC Yukon.
There should be several light bulb sockets located on the back side of each housing.
Grasp each of the sockets, and turn them counterclockwise, while pulling outward to access the bulb.
After removing each bulb socket, check to see if the filaments inside the bulbs are broken, indicating a shot bulb.
Also, you may check to see if the wiring harness attached to each bulb socket is not loose, or show any sign of corrosion, plus, check the condition of the wiring itself for cuts, abrasions, and missing insulation, which will need to be repaired.
Finally, if none the above solutions work, the culprit may be a faulty multifunction turn signal switch, which is usually round in appearance and located underneath the dash.

Front turn signals work intermittently, side signals work as well as the rear

Loose connection at the sockets or joints. Check bulb seating at sockets (new sockets can be loose-Fong Kong) and clean cable connections

Mazda eletrical right side indicator not working

Remove the bulb and either replace it or check to see if it is good with an ohm meter. If the bulb is good check to see if the connection is corroded. If so, make sure the power is off and clean the connection throughly with a wire brush or other tool. If there is no corrosion check to see if you have 12 volts DC at the connection with a volt meter set to 20 volts DC. If the bulb is good, it is clean, and you do not have voltage then you have a wiring problem. Work you way backward and check for a loose or cut wire.

My front signal lights on my 1995 Geo Metro do not work. The rear ones do, but not the front. I checked the fuse box but it wasn't that. When I turn on the head lights all the lights turn on. It's only...

the front lights for the park lights work off of a separate filament and wire circuit than the signal light.you may just need to replace the bulbs at the front of the car.it may also be a bad socket for the signal lights only and not the park lights.

Turn indicator light flashes quickly. bulbs fine

The quick flash is a fault detection for a burnt out bulb. If bulb is good, check bulb socket. Inspect for corrosion. If needed, replace bulb socket. Check bulb socket connector. Check if fuse. Check emergency flashers ( most cars have a separate circuit).

2003 dodge ram 3500 4x4. low beam RF works no LF; high beam RF out, LF works. turn signals onlr RR works no LF,RR,RF. quickflash on dashboard

first thing to do, go with the replacement of the light bulbs, high beam and low beam are two different fillaments on the ligh bulb, as for the rear also replace the bulbs, when your flasher rellay flashes faster, it means that there is less drop of current in the circuit, like only one light bulb working.
