Question about 2004 Ford F150
I had been driving for a while on the interstate. When I got in town to make a left turn- which I had come to a dead stop. It seemed that the truck steering wheel was locked and would not let me turn, so I proceeded down the road and made several left turns there after and it was fine. Drove again later and the steering seemed fine. We just got it back from the shop from having spark plugs and a coil changed. They said that there were no other codes when they first checked it out other than what we had repaired. Could this be a power steering problem? I have never had it do this ever. It has 81,000 miles on it.
I would take the steering wheel apart and check the key lock on it and see if the rods are prematurely locking
