you may have a "dead spot" in the starter...did you try hitting the starter with a hammer while someone cranks the vehicle?

Have you checked the condition of the new battery?Does the ignition lights on the dash light up when the key is turned on?.

Check all connections to the starter. If loose clean and re install. Corrosion build up will cause a no start problem

2004 trailblazer problems

Check for OBD2 codes, primarily a code indicating PCM memory is corrupt. My Trailblazer at times wouldn't turn over and start. Nothing at the key. When you attempt to start the vehicle and you turn the key to the start position, the PCM sends a signal to the starter relay to start the engine. Youtube video showed a mechanic warming the PCM with a hair dryer, and it would start. Tried it on mine and it started fine. If it is the PCM, the remedy is PCM replacement. Got mine from pcmforless.com about $100.00. They had to program the new PCM with the vehicle vin number. Once installed no more problems.

2004 trailblazer ext high beam headlights wont turn off and the relay makes high pitched noise

Need to check the ground path on the squealing relay. A poor ground will cause this condition.

What happens if i disconnect the battery from my 2004 chevy trailblazer?

Nothing will happen but while reconnecting battery you may have to enter your stereo code that comes with car manual and keep keys with you don't keep it inside cause car can get lock automatically, so keep keys in your pocket. if any issue please let me know. thanks.

My 2004 trailblazer wont turn off when you turn the key to off posistion

hi, it sounds if it is a diesel engine,
information:
the injection pump supplies metered diesel and cylider timing to the engine. at the back of the diesel pump is a little unit called a solinoid (igninion controlled valve) this valve may be stuck.
testing:
start engine and be very carefull and pull off the single connector, if engine do not stop your solinoid (ignition controlled valve) is not working.
old way of doing this in the past was pushing a rod to turn off the diesel. i hope this is usefull to you bye for now gerry

It wont start turn key dash lights up nothing happens

sounds like a dead battery to start with. Not even enough juice in the battery to energize the solenoid / brake interlock to get it out of PARK. Hope this helps

Cant get the key out of the ignition and nothing works!

When you say "nothing works". Do you mean none of the lights are coming on and it wont start? If yes your battery may be dead or not hooked up or blown fuse or burnt wire.
