Question about 1994 Chevrolet Corsica

A/C in my car not working! Please help

The air conditioning in my 1994 Chevy Corsica is not working. The fan works, so it blows out hot air. The heater works. But, no cool air at all! Please help! I'm not even sure where to start. Thanks!

If the a/c system has low refrigerant level, it will blow uncooled air.
I'd take it to the local service station and get a recharge and check for leaks in the system.

Jedsteen, when was the last time the A/C worked in your car and how well did it work? Based on what you've described above, sounds like your A/C system needs to be recharged. Go to this link and watch this video titled A/C 101 sponsored by Advanced Auto Parts, it's very informative. Please rate/vote for this reply if you found this to be useful.

Check under your battery tray for a corroded plastic vacuum line. If I remember right, it runs to your vacuum canister. The selector defaults to the floor or defrost when it loses this vacuum. It's been a while, but I had the same problem with my 1994 chevy corsica and that vacuum line was the problem. I replaced the bad section and everything worked as it should.

Air Conditioning

I assume when you say the ac fan you mean the condenser fan? Take the plug loose from the fan and check it for voltage. If theres no voltage when the air is on,check the relays and fuses. If there is voltage then replace the fan motor.

1994 Hyundai Excel Air conditioning RADIATOR´S FAN works always very fast

this not really a problem as the fan speed is controlled by the high preasure switch in the ac system the hotter it is outside the higher the preassure will be in the system as hot as its been the preasure is high already when the compressor cycles it pulls suction on one side and outputs high preasure on the other the fans cool the condenser the higher the ambient temp the faster they go so all is fine...
