Question about 2004 Honda Accord

Not enough power going to condenser to start.

Honda 2004 accord - A/c would work one day - wouldn't work next day. Still blows air. Power ok at fuse - power going into condenser - only 3-8 amps - not enough to kick on. Where to start looking for an electrical short? Known problem switches? Already had electric console recall fixed.

I went to an ac mechanic today - he said I had plenty of freon - that not enough power was going to the whatever its called that makes the air turn cold. Mechanic said I'd have to bring it back in and leave it - because somewhere a switch is not working. When it stopped working I had just switched from vents to defroster. Is it really complicated to take off the dash and test the connections? Maybe just corroded?

do you mean compressor or condenser is not getting power

the condenser doesn't use any type of power, it is a radiator for the refrigerant to turn it from a hot gas back to cool gas. so the question is what is the problem, explain it in simple terms don't try to be a HVAC technician.

U need to check the vacuum from the engine to the heat ac/ control switch in the dash, it should be easy to access for testing.

I have a 2004 honda accord. The wipers and the blower for the defrost, heat and air quit at the same time. We have checked all fuses and relays. The next day the car wouldn't start. Sounds lik

First make sure the battery is fully charged and do a "load test" to make sure it is still good. then check the alternator and charging system to make sure it's working. My VW does this when it's not charging properly. When the battery gets below a certain voltage the car will automatically shut down everything electrical to keep power for the engine and the light doesn't always come on. It's usually a boken wire. Hope this helps.

2004 Honda Accord Radio fuse blows

There was a recall for the 03-04 Accord radio. It had faulty circuitry that caused the screen to go dim. Check with Honda to see if they'll still honor the recall.

Try cleaning out your air filter. Blow through it with an air nozzle. If that does not work, then maybe try replacing the air filter.
