Lots of things can cause this, plugged fuel filter, tune up, water in the fuel, vacuum leaks, mass air flow sensor, etc. Start with the easiest things first. Put some chemicals in the fuel tank to dissipate any water, change the fuel filter, then start checking for air leaks.

This can be caused by a weak or misfiring engine cylinder but the check engine light would be on an most likely flashing, if that isn't the case you may need new engine mounts.

Runs smooth then runs rough & rough back to smooth running.

If your check engine light comes on get it checked. To me it sounds like an engine misfire probably cause by a coil pack or spark plug wire going bad. The misfire should cause the check engine light to come on maybe even flash if the misfire is bad enough

Nothing to do with valve control but o2 sensor should be replaced and also sounds like the engine is misfiring when gas is applied, this may be caused by a bad coil or sparkplug.when was your last tune up?, i would replace sensor and also make sure there are no other codes , even check for history codes.

A lack of power or a vehicle running rough can caused the vehicle to "shake" and also a broken motor mount or transmission mount can cause the problem.
If it's running rough it could be because of one of two fairly common problems. One is a leak in the air duct between the air filter and the throttle body. The other is a leak from rubber hoses connecting the intake to the PCV valve at the crankcase causing a vacuum leak. More serious problems such as a misfire from a bad coil pack or a blown head gasket can also cause the vehicle to lose power and run poorly but these are not as common.

I am having trouble will my car jerking and shaking anytime i accelerate

This sounds you may have a bad plug wire. It's shorting to ground, causing a misfire. I would replace the plugs and wires. This will most likely solve your problem.

I hope this helps get you started on the road to a good-running car! :) Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
