Follow the silver a/c lines from your a/c compressor. The low pressure valve has a blue cap and the high pressure valve has a red cap.

My car AC light blinks anytime i put it on and does not bring out cool air.Though it was working well previously, but just stopped working after a while. The model of my car is Toyota Camry 1998 model....

sounds like the refrigerant level is low.
there is a pressure switch in the system that will stop the system working if there is not enough refrigerant and the blinking light is a fault warning.

a/c systems do need periodic recharging, some cars may need recharging every 2-3 years while others can last far longer.
you probably just need to get the system regassed and checked for leaks

I'm putting freon in for my ac to get cold but dont know which cap to put it in. The red or black cap?

More then likely it's going to be the black, look at both a/c hoses, the thick (fat) one is the low side, that the one you want to recharge your a/c, the thin one is high side, stay away from that one.
