Question about 1998 Mercury Mystique

Driver side widow does not work

I have a 1998 mercury mystic. The driver window has been working on and off. Now it does not work at all. Is this something that I can fix myself or does it have to be done in a shop? If it is something that I can do myself is there a way were I can be guided through the process. Thanks for your help.

1998 mercury mystic i changed the intake 0n my4 cylindes engine now want idle obd codepo122 and1504

Code 122 is for a problem with the throttle position sensor, and code 1504 is a problem with the idle air control valve.
Check these components and make sure they are hooked up and working.

Heater not working in 98 mercury mystic, replaced relays, fuses, resistor, blower motor

ok here is what you will have to do remove the fuse panel it is down by drivers feet, above it is a push button to release it down.you will also have to remove it from the two hinge pins it hangs from. flip it over so you can see back at the top corner you will find a red and green wire together with a black plug the connection is going to be burned up remove plug cut wire and replace them with new ends and plug back in the red goes towards the windshield.

Driver window will not work

The black boxes inside the fuse box are indeed relays, which will make a clicking noise. The window buttons are merely contact switches, and if they quit operating properly, the window simply won't do anything, but I've never heard any noises come from one when it quit working. The relays can easily be replaced by hand, so go to a local auto parts store to see about purchasing one, and ask them to show you on their computer screen exactly which relay in your fuse panel is the one that controls the window circuits, and replace it yourself. It's very simple.
