Question about 1995 Chevrolet Blazer
After it rains, I try to start my truck and it will turn over but not fire. When i let off turning over, sometimes the engine spins backwards.
I have spark and fuel and cant figure it out. If I come back the next day It will start and run normal. I have a new fuel pump, plugs and cap and rotor. My step-dad is good with cars and he can't seem to figure it out. He thinks it might be a sensor or something. Do you know what this could be?
Porous ignition wires can do that..especially when they are damp....too much power is lost to ground on the way to the plugs while cranking. as you release the key, power to the starter is cut, supplying a bit more voltage to the coil, not turning quickly enough, the spark pushes the engine backwards a bit.
