DRIVERS SIDE FRONT VIBRATION ON 2003 MITSUBISHI GALLANT

WHEN I ACCELERATE FROM 0 TO 30, I FEEL AND HEAR A VIBRATION ON THE FRONT DRIVERS SIDE, FEELS LIKE THE WHEEL BUT GOES INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. WHEN I REACH 40 MPH, THE VIBRATION STOPS. MY MECHANICS HAVE CHECKED IT AND THEY SAID THE SUSPENSION, AXLE, ETC. WERE ALL SOLID. BUT THE VIBRATION CONTINUES. ANY IDEAS?

The other advice given are possibles. My question is why didn't you leave the vehicle till they found the problem. That is why they are in business, to find it for you? Hard to speculate. I used get those issues to work on when i had my Trans Shop and as the owner I worked those because my employees only were into the trans repair part. and we had certain franchise reg to follow.

Had a similar problem but passenger side. It was that the right front brake rotor was warped slighty and wa wearing unevenly. I had the brake turned and went away. Came back after a few months so I'm suspecting eitherpads are bad or caliper is sticking at an angle

Front end clunk

It's usually a sway bar link and/or sway bar bushing.
Disconnect it and try that for less noise before buying parts.

2003 Mitsubishi Outlander Grating Noise, Front Struts?

It very well could be the strut.
smaller chance could be the CV axle.
Also have the splash guards/heat shields checked to make sure they are all tight in place.

Front end popping/grinding and vibration from right front end

Bad news Aaron. Your symptoms sound exactly like a bad CV joint. And shame on the dealer for not thinking of that. If the CV is indeed bad, consider having the car towed to the dealership, as this can be dangerous condition.

When accelerating from approximately 0 - 20 mph

My immediate quick test would be to move the front tires to the back (and backs to front, of course) then try it out. If the vibration is still there but feels like it's coming from somewhere else (vibration could feel like it's in in steering wheel or seat), you've got a broken belt or bent rim (wheel). Don't want to get your hands dirty? Get all 4 wheels balanced -5 to 10 bucks per wheel.

Vibration and noise coming from front end.

Try this . Find an empty stretch of road . Accelerate teh vehicle to 30 mph ,while you switch the transmission INTO NEUTRAL, making sure there are no other vehicles in or behind your path. Listen and feel for your problem. Still feel it ? I would raise the vehicle in the air, and inspect ALL 4 TIRES for OUT OF ROUNDNESS. Cupping will not only cause a vibration, but also a noise. Hope this helps.

Vibration and noise from front end while driving

Jack up the front end and put stands under it and block rear wheels. Look at axle boots and see if they are cracked. Try turning wheel back and forth sharply and see if you can hear any clicking. Problem could be outer axle joints. If the boots are cracked or you hear a clicking noise you will have to replace the axle. The axle and boot come as a complete unit. Please let me know what you find out.
